How do we deal with Cookies & Privacy?

Personal data we process
At Wetec Enterprise IT and Wetec Solutions, we process personal data about you because you use our services and/or because you provide these data to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

When using the services and the website, you leave certain (personal) data with us. Privacy is important to us, so we process and secure your (personal) data carefully. We comply with the requirements of privacy legislation (General Data Protection Regulation, AVG). This means, among other things, that we:

  • clearly state the purposes for which we process personal data;
  • ask you first for express consent to process your personal data in cases where this is required;
  • limit the collection of personal data to those that are only necessary for the purposes for which they are processed;
  • not pass on your data to third parties, unless this is necessary to provide the service you have requested or when we are legally obliged to do so;
  • When we share your data, we make arrangements with third parties to ensure, among other things, that your data is not used for other purposes;
  • take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data and require the same from parties processing personal data on our behalf;
  • respect your rights such as the right to access, correct and delete personal data processed with us.

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data on website visitors who are under 16 years of age. Unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children's online activities to avoid collecting data on children without parental consent.

Why we need data
At Wetec Enterprise IT and Wetec Solutions. we process your personal data, for the following purposes:

  • To be able to write to you, email or call you if necessary to carry out our services;
  • Giving you access to the components of the products and services purchased under contract;
  • Informing you of changes to our services and products;
  • We analyse your behaviour on the website in order to improve our website and tailor our range of products and services to your preferences;
  • We also process personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data we need for our tax return;
  • Sending our newsletter and/or advertising leaflet if you have given your consent;
  • For processing your application.

Grounds for data processing
The collection and processing of your personal data is always based on one of the following legal grounds:

  • You have consented to the processing of your personal data;
  • Processing is necessary for the performance of the agreement and our services;
  • We have a legitimate interest in processing your data;
  • There is a legal duty to process your data, which we must comply with.

How long we keep data
At Wetec Enterprise IT and Wetec Solutions, we will keep your personal data no longer than strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which your data is collected but never longer than 7 years after the customer relationship has ended.

Job application data is kept for a maximum of 4 weeks after the end of the procedure, unless you have given express permission to keep it longer or you have joined us. From then on, our internal privacy statement applies.

Sharing with others
At Wetec Enterprise IT and Wetec Solutions, we only provide personal data to third parties and only if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

You can send us a request for inspection, correction or deletion. To make sure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your proof of identity with the request. We hereby ask you to black out your passport photo, passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. However, the deadline may be extended for reasons related to the specific rights of data subjects or the complexity of the request. If we extend this deadline, we will notify you in good time.

Security
At Wetec Enterprise IT and Wetec Solutions, we take the protection of your data seriously and take appropriate measures to counter abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. If you feel that your data is nevertheless not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact our support desk.

We may change this privacy statement from time to time and will do our best to keep website visitors, customers and prospects informed of these changes at all times. Changes will be published on our website. It is therefore advisable to consult this privacy statement regularly and check the date as included at the bottom of the privacy statement so that you are aware of these changes.
